The corporate travel management company, TripActions is set to open two offices in Europe in Amsterdam and London as a part of its global expansion strategy. The EMEA operations will be headquartered in Amsterdam and London office will support its key customers and travelers. A first end- to- end travel startup, TripActions aims to establish its global footprint while competing with other travel management companies.
According to Ariel Cohen, CEO of TripActions:
“A lot of people tried to disrupt the major travel management companies, and they always failed. We had this vision to be a startup that is always going for it and creating an end-to-end business travel solution that includes the globe. The launch in Europe is just the first step in our international footprint.”
TripActions is approaching its 1,000 customer and it aims to increase its current 250 employee base to over 800 in the next 18 months. TripActions is growing around 23 percent month-over–month. In March, TripActions announced a $51 million Series B financing round that will be used for the expansion.
Ariel Cohen further added:
“TripActions was founded to help end the stress that road warriors experience on the road. In order to support the infrastructure needed to do it, we need to put physical footprints in regions where planning travel may be challenging. We’re committed to being there for our customers and travelers in every way we can. Expanding our services globally is a very natural decision for us.”
Headquartered in the US, TripActions operates as a travel agency and offers online corporate and business travel management services. TripActions was founded in 2015 by Ariel Cohen and Ilan Twig.
