TURKEY > Pepsi bets big in Turkey with sixth factory

USA based PepsiCo to establish its sixth factory in Turkey adding more than 500 jobs. The new plant will employ 350 staff initially and will hit the target of 500 by 2022. Currently PepsiCo provides employment to more than 43,000 people (Directly and indirectly) in Turkey with five factories.

The food and drinking company will establish a facility with over 100,000 square meter area in Manisa, Turkey. The factory is expected to have a 35,000 square meters of indoor space. It will also be equipped with new technologies such as potato-handling and product delivery units.
