The automation platform enables its customers to execute large scale, complex data- migration and data- integration projects in a faster and smarter way. Datawave, ETL’s flagship product, won the Informatica Innovation Award and is expandable to big data platforms.
According to Rahul Singh, President and Head- Financial Services, HCL Technologies, the acquisition will help HCL’s capabilities to collaborate with clients on data transformation projects while incorporating the culture of Dev OPs and continuous integration. Along with this, he added that Datawave will also bring significant banking industry expertise to HCL.
Anand Birje, Corporate Vice President and Head- Digital and Analytics, HCL Technologies added that in the recent market study done by HCL, 81 percent of organizations felt that they were overwhelmed with the volume and variety needed for digital transformation and Datawave’s automation solution will definitely accelerate their clients digital transformation.
Lastly, Mark Butterworth, CEO of Datawave said that the synergies between HCL’s technology leadership and deep engineering capabilities and Datawave’s customer-centric, enterprise data integration platform will result in value to the clients.
