PORTUGAL > Belgium based C&A launches its e-commerce business in additional eleven countries in Europe namely Croatia, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia,Hungary, Finland, Greece, Czech Republic, Denmark, Slovenia and Sweden

C&A strengthens its focus on the e- commerce business by offering English language European shop with consistent prices, single currency and standardized offer. With the addition of Croatia, Portugal, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, Greece, Czech Republic, Denmark,  Slovenia and Sweden the total range of the e-commerce site has reached 20 countries.

According to Dr. Andreas Hammer, Director E-Commerce Europe:

“This additional online store is the next big step in expanding our online activities.”

Dr Hammer further explained:

“We know that many people from these countries regret that they cannot order our fashion online. The launch of the EU Shop is good news for them.”

The company had existing branches in Croatia, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary while Denmark, Finland, Greece and Sweden are the locations where the company was not previously represented. Regardless of the local currency, all the prices are quoted in Euros.

However, nothing changes for the customers of C&A for the previous nine countries it has already been offering its online service. The countries are Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland and Spain and the online shops in these countries open in their respective national language.
